Responsibilities

Develop long-term sourcing strategy by commodity group.
Execute supplier consolidation and cost reduction programs.
Lead commercial reviews and high-value negotiations.
Analyze sourcing trends and global price drivers
Manage supplier scorecards and escalation process
Coordinate quality, logistics, and engineering inputs for new projects
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical sourcing practices.
Drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance through benchmarking and market analysis.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
10-12 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement of mechanical commodities.
Deep knowledge of India supplier base across processes
Strategic thinker with data-driven decision-making ability
Strong leadership, project management, and cost modelling skills
Strong understanding of mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and market trends.
Proven experience in vendor management, development, and negotiation.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is a plus.
